PDA-mate is a set of plug-ins that allow you to quickly take the information you need with you on your PalmOS® handheld device. The program installs buttons in the Microsoft Internet Explorer, Word and Outlook toolbars so you can instantly save text from Web pages, e-mail messages and documents into the MemoPad program on your PDA. You can choose to save the entire document you are viewing, or only the portion you have selected with the mouse.
PDA-mate integrates iteself into Internet Explorer by placing a button in the toolbar. But more importantly, during the HotSync operation, PDA-mate does not have to go out to the Internet to get the information you need. It has already been saved on your computer. This program will work with practically every page on the Internet. Finally, PDA-mate does not require that you use a separate program on your PDA to view the information you have saved. The documents are added as new memos to the MemoPad application.
